10, 12 or 15 Inch Speakers
10 inch speakers are light and great for ceremonies, cocktail hours and small rooms. 12 inch speakers are the most popular mobile DJ size, with a good balance of weight and output. 15 inch speakers give more low end on their own but are heavier to carry.
Add a Subwoofer
For dance floors, a subwoofer changes everything. Pair two 12 inch tops with one or two 15 or 18 inch subs. The tops get cleaner because the sub handles the bass. Use a speaker pole to mount tops on the subs.
