Description
The JBL ASB7118 is a high-power, lightweight front-loaded vented subwoofer enclosure housing JBL's exclusive 2269H Ultra Long Excursion 18" Differential Drive® woofer. This transducer features a neodymium magnet, dual voice coils and dual gaps, JBL's exclusive Vented Gap Cooling™, and an ultra-robust composite cone for high excursion and extra-long life — capable of a peak-to-peak maximum excursion of 89 mm (3.5"). With 2,000 watts continuous / 8,000 watts peak power handling, the ASB7118 is designed for ground-stacked or suspended applications, either as a standalone array or in combination with other AE Series products. The multiply hardwood enclosure is coated in JBL's rugged DuraFlex finish, heavily braced for maximum low-frequency performance, and fitted with sixteen M10 threaded attachment points.
