Description
The Behringer B-5 is a small-diaphragm studio condenser microphone built for accurate, detailed capture of acoustic sources. It ships with two interchangeable capsules, cardioid and omnidirectional, so one mic covers close instrument work, drum overheads, ensembles, and room miking. A gold-sputtered diaphragm and pressure-gradient transducer keep the sound clean and natural.
A low-noise transformerless FET circuit eliminates low-frequency distortion, while a switchable low-cut filter clears floor rumble and a -10 dB pad handles louder sources. The satin nickel-plated brass body holds up to studio and stage use, and the gold-plated 3-pin XLR keeps the signal clean. The B-5 ships with both capsules, a stand clamp, windscreen, and hard case, and needs +48V phantom power.
