Description
The Behringer B-2 PRO is a multipattern large-diaphragm studio condenser microphone that covers a lot of ground from a single mic. A 1" gold-sputtered dual-diaphragm capsule sits in a shock-mounted headbasket and feeds a transformerless FET circuit for clean, transparent capture with a slight presence lift that often saves you from reaching for high-frequency EQ.
A pattern switch selects cardioid, omnidirectional, or figure-8, so the same mic handles close vocals, drum overheads, room ambience, and stereo pairs. A switchable low-cut filter trims rumble and proximity buildup, and a -10 dB pad lets it sit in front of louder sources. The satin nickel-plated brass body is built to take abuse, and it ships with an aluminum case, suspension shockmount, and windscreen. The B-2 PRO needs +48V phantom power.
