Description
The Behringer A800 is a 2-channel reference power amplifier built to drive passive studio monitors and PA speakers with clean, accurate output. It delivers 400 watts per channel into 4 ohms in stereo, or up to 800 watts into 8 ohms in bridged-mono mode, leaving plenty of headroom for nearfield monitoring and live use. A servo-controlled, low-impedance design handles virtually any passive speaker, and convection cooling keeps it running silent with no fan.
High-density Class-D circuitry keeps the A800 light and efficient, while SmartSense impedance compensation holds the frequency response flat regardless of the connected load for tighter bass and smooth highs. A front-panel level meter with input-clip and channel-protection LEDs makes performance easy to monitor, and independent DC, low-frequency, and thermal protection guard both the amp and your speakers.
