Description
Designed in the USA, the Milan™ certified Avante Audio AKRO ATS218 is a high-output dual 18-inch active subwoofer engineered for medium to the largest events and pairs nicely with the Avante Audio AKRO ATL328 line array. This subwoofer can be setup to form small to large sub arrays depending on venue or application. This subwoofer is composed of dual high-output 18-inch low-frequency woofers tuned with a very large port. The high-efficiency Class-D +switching power amplifier boasts 4800-watts of total peak power and has a PFC power supply. This ensures that you have great headroom with very minimal distortion. Delivers an exceptional low frequency response of 32 Hz to 120Hz (-6dB).
The AKRO ATS218 is equipped with a comprehensive, German made DSP, featuring full system networking, remote monitoring/control including input level, equalization, delay, LF and HF compensation presets. It can be controlled via the new Akro-Command system control software (Windows/Mac), or locally via three rotary switches.
This DSP also enables networked audio using the Milan™ standard. This allows for easy setup via TCP/IP. Analog audio connections are available as well.
With a precision CNC machined Baltic birch plywood enclosure, made to withstand the rigors of touring in very demanding environments, making it the perfect choice for professional sound applications including live-sound production, touring and permanent installation including night club applications. The EZ-Link cabinet interlock hardware makes it easy to connect cabinets together to form solid arrays. Protective rain cover for the amplifier connections and IP-rated locking power connectors comes standard. Heavy duty interlocking nylon-skid feet make it easy for cardioid configurations.
Finished in a durable black polyurea coating and featuring a black powder-coated steel grill, this line array system is sure to look great with any performance. Individually, it outputs an impressive maximum SPL of 142 dB.
