10 Port PoE Hub
Allen & Heath ME-U 10-Port Power Over Ethernet Hub for ME Series — ME-U is a touring grade, 10 port PoE hub providing power and audio to multiple ME-1 and/or ME-500 personal mixers.
Scalable
The ME system can scale effortlessly from one mixer to hundreds. ME-1 and ME-500 mixers connected directly to the ME-U are powered via PoE. Additional ME-1 and ME-500 mixers can be daisy-chained and powered via external PSU. Multiple ME-U hubs can be daisy-chained together if more than 10 ports are required.
3rd Party Connection
When fitted with the appropriate option card, the ME-U can be connected to a MADI or Dante equipped audio interface for use in recording studios, bringing all the benefits of the ME Personal Mixing System to recording musicians and engineers.
ME-U 3rd Party Options
The M-MADI card supports up to 64 channel of 48kHz audio over MADI, enabling the connection of ME-U to digital mixers and audio interfaces that support MADI. The M-MADI card is fitted to the ME-U’s option card slot.
The M-DANTE card supports up to 64 channel of 48kHz audio over Dante, enabling the connection of ME-U to digital mixers and audio interfaces that support Dante. The M-DANTE card is fitted to the ME-U’s option card slot.
The DMI-ME option card enables selected DiGiCo consoles to send up to 40 channels to a ME system. The DMI-ME card is fitted to the DiGiCo mixer and connects to the ME-U’s standard interface card. See the DiGiCo website for more details.
