FBT PromaxX 114A - Active Point Source 14"

The PROMAXX 114A is a high-performance, 2-way bi-amplified bass reflex loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional audio quality. It features a 14″ woofer and is powered by separate amplifiers: 700W RMS for the LF section via Class D, and 200W RMS for the HF section via Class H/AB, both equipped with switch-mode power supplies.A digital signal processor with a graphic display, rotary encoder, and push-button functionality allows for precise control and tuning of the system. The rear control panel includes a balanced XLR/Jack input, XLR LINK OUT, dual volume controls, RCA stereo input, and DSP interface.

The PROMAXX 114A is equipped with two M10 suspension points, a 35 mm (1.38”) top-hat speaker stand socket, and a wall bracket flange plate, offering multiple mounting options for flexible installation. A 90°H x 60°V constant directivity horn ensures consistent coverage, while built-in monitor angles of 12°, 40°, and 55° make it equally effective as a front-of-house speaker or floor monitor.The DSP menu system, located on the rear panel, is navigated via a single rotary encoder with push-to-select functionality. Users can choose from 6 factory presets, with 2 additional user-defined slots available, each offering up to 5 parametric EQ bands. Additional features include a high-pass filter, mic/line switch, a low, medium, high EQ and an optional delay line of up to 10 meters.

Users can also choose between three limiter modes: MIN, NORMAL or MAX. Its comprehensive feature set is matched by its structural versatility, supporting pole mounting, wall installation or suspension.
