The EVENT-S218A is a high-performance self-powered subwoofer designed for demanding professional applications, delivering extended low-frequency output with high SPL capability and exceptional control. Engineered for touring and rental environments, it provides powerful and consistent sub-bass reproduction with minimal distortion, even at extreme levels.

The system features two 18” neodymium transducers in a bass-reflex configuration, optimized for maximum efficiency and dynamic response. Each 18ESN transducer incorporates a 4” dual-layer voice coil, allowing increased power handling and improved use of magnetic flux, resulting in reduced distortion and enhanced thermal stability.

Advanced finite-element simulations have been used to optimize the transducer design, ensuring precise suspension behavior, mechanical stability, and tonal consistency across the entire low-frequency range.

The enclosure is constructed from multi-layer birch plywood, providing high rigidity and durability for demanding professional use. Finished with a black ISOFlex polyurea coating, it offers effective protection against impacts and harsh conditions while maintaining a robust, professional appearance. The integrated amplifier module includes a dedicated rain cover, providing additional protection for the electronics in adverse weather conditions. The cabinet incorporates feet on the bottom and on one side, allowing vertical positioning when required. Two M20 mounting points, located on the top and side panels, enable flexible integration with point-source systems and the TRD-8 telescopic accessory.

Power is supplied by an integrated 4-channel Class-D amplifier with a low-consumption universal switch-mode power supply. The amplifier operates in bridged mode for each 8-Ω transducer, optimizing the damping factor and delivering up to 4500 W Peak power for solid, efficient, and reliable performance.

A high-performance digital audio processor with display and encoder provides access to system parameters and dedicated presets, including cardioid configurations for 2 or 3 units. Integrated Wi-Fi connectivity allows firmware updates via a web-server app, ensuring the system can be easily updated with the latest enhancements.
