ART 815-A is a portable two-way active speaker built for DJs, musicians, and installers who want professional sound, robust performance, and everyday versatility in a sleek, modern form factor. A 1.75" compression driver, 15" woofer, and powerful 1400 W two-channel amplifier work with RCF's constant-directivity True Resistive Waveguide to deliver consistent 100° x 60° coverage, clear reproduction, and up to 130 dB SPL with low distortion. The lightweight yet rugged cabinet uses a special polypropylene composite with internal M-brace reinforcement for improved stability and reduced resonance, making ART 815-A fast to deploy, easy to handle, and ready for portable systems or secure installation on a pole, wall, truss, or flown setup via multiple rigging points.

RCF Transducer Technology

RCF transducers are engineered for clarity, power handling, and long-term reliability. ART 8 combines clean high-frequency detail, strong vocal projection, and solid low-frequency response with controlled distortion. The True Resistive Waveguide reduces high-frequency distortion and shapes constant directivity across the listening area, improving coverage and stereo image.

Low Frequencies

Low-frequency transducer design gains more stability over higher currents, with less distortion, and is highly efficient in terms of heat dissipation. RCF quality control is very strict. Our woofers are tested with a 200 hours continuous signal to stress the transducer at extreme levels. Only the best woofer design can fit ART 8.

High Frequencies

The new 1.75" compression driver voice-coil design with Polyimide-Kapton dome features a new bonding technology and reinforced ribs making it 10 times more durable than previous designs. The redesigned phase plug increases sound clarity, enhancing transient response and improving coupling with the low-frequency transducer.

True Resistive Waveguide

The True Resistive Waveguide integrates waveguide geometry, vented port placement, and FiRPHASE processing, enabling the speaker to function as a single, coherent source. Engineered for consistent performance, TRW delivers constant directivity across the listening area, improving coverage and stereo imaging.

Reinforced Composite Enclosure

ART 8 is built into a lightweight composite enclosure, engineered with internal M-brace reinforcement for high structural strength and reduced resonance. This durable yet portable design is ideal for demanding road use and secure fixed installations. The heavy-duty steel grille provides robust protection for both the transducers and the vented ports, ensuring long-term reliability in any environment.

Subwoofer pairing with ACE Presets

ART 8 can be used alone or with RCF subwoofers for greater low-frequency extension and impact. ACE-enabled subwoofer models (starting from the SUB AX Series) include dedicated presets for optimized, one-touch tuning. RCF's Advanced Crossover Engine (ACE) precisely adjusts time delay and phase to optimize the system's power and impact.

Bring ART With You

ART 8 is easy to carry, with ergonomic handles on both sides and the top. The lower side includes a steel pole socket for mounting on a stand or subwoofer pole. Each model can be used as a main system, fill speaker, or stage monitor, and can also be flown, wall-mounted, or truss-mounted using multiple M10 rigging points and dedicated accessories.

Low-Frequency Enhancer

XBOOST adds extra depth and impact to the low-frequency response when more bass presence is needed. It can be activated directly from the rear panel, giving users a fast way to adapt the speaker to the performance, the room, or the listening level. For setups without a subwoofer, XBOOST helps create a fuller sound while keeping the overall response controlled and balanced.

New perspective on linearity

RCF speakers are designed using a proprietary and advanced digital FiR technology, conceived to deliver transparent sound, absolute clarity, and perfect imaging to the listener. The special FiRPHASE filters allow for coherent distribution of sound for all listeners without phase distortions, ensuring minimum latencies in the system.

Bass Motion Control®

ART 8 speakers equipped with Bass Motion Control (BMC) deliver the lowest audible frequencies without compromising woofer stability, with extended linearity and improved sound integrity. The BMC method creates a complete map of the woofer's dynamic behavior to generate a custom algorithm that limits overexcursions.
