The AKG H85 is a professional universal shock mount designed for microphones with shaft diameters from 19mm to 26mm (3/4" to 1"), including the AKG C414, C214, P220, P420, and similar large-diaphragm condenser microphones. Featuring AKG's elastic band suspension system, the H85 effectively decouples the microphone from stand-transmitted vibrations, ensuring clean, noise-free recordings even when the mic stand is bumped or when low-frequency rumble is present.
