A&E SPECIFICATIONS
- The backbox for recessed installation of a 4 in. speaker shall be Lowell Model No. P625X, which shall be welded 20-gauge steel with a black powder epoxy finish. It shall include mounting tabs with 8-32 U-clips for installation of a square, screw-mount grille (ordered separately). The bottom shall be undercoated with a metal deadener. Backbox shall feature 1/2–3/4 in. knockouts for conduit on four sides, and slots for depth adjustment on two sides. The backbox shall measure 6.25 in. square x 4 in. deep
